I find it very interesting the continued stereotyping of job roles and occupations. There are many tradespeople who do far better economically than their university educated peers and yet in a room of businesspeople and tradespeople there continues to be an air of superiority. Who decides what job is better than another and why? The world would not function without all types of workers and by supporting learners in their strengths and encouraging all abilities would do well to support an innovative and inquiry based society.
